The Point of Power

It’s been said that the point of power is in the present—that all creation emerges from the now moment, and that even the past and the future arise from this same living center.

We carry our ideas, feelings, stories, and beliefs into the now, and from that place we move forward, shaping the future with the momentum of the past we bring with us.

But what is it truly like to rest in the now and create from it?

I see the image of a fountain pen: ink flowing from the nib onto the page, creating the letters that form the words. In the same way, reality pours through us into the present moment. As ink contains the unformed words before they appear on the page, so too do we hold the unexpressed potentials of reality that come into form through us.

And just as we can change the color of the ink—from dark to light, dull to bright, harsh to beautiful—we also choose the tones, textures, and qualities of our creation through the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs we let flow into the moment at hand.

To master the now is to become aware, to choose consciously the pigments and hues of our experience.

For me, this mastery begins with asking for help—again and again and again.

My personality, my individuality, my emerging self within this multidimensional reality needs guidance.

I welcome support from teachers, friends, loved ones, and family in this physical world.

Yet even more, I need the inner support of my guides, my teachers, and my Whole Self on the inner plane.

True joy, I believe, arises when my personality self and my Whole Self stand together in the present, co-creating with harmony and delight—bringing into form the vision I have carefully blended, chosen, and imagined; the colors and creation I wish to unfold in the eternal now.
